I wanted to share for just a few minutes here on the topic of commanding better prices for lawn care and landscaping. And not only that, maybe help some of the newer folks in business with a mindset shift about charging more for your services.
I get asked time and time again a very similar question and that is, what do we charge for lawn care in our area. Although you'd think it would be a simple answer, it isn't. And not necessarily for the obvious reasons you may think. It has so much more to do with the mindset of the question, than just the x's and o's of what we do and how we do it.
I really wanted to spend some time and share with you guys my attitude and mindset when it came to pricing and what to charge people. But as you may see, I wanted to tackle this question in an entirely different manner.
Watch all the way through, because I try to answer this one the best I can, which can hopefully lead you on a journey to figuring that question out on your own. Sure, there are certain rates that are pretty typical across our industry, but that's where it ends. After that, I give you my best advice I can on tackling the pricing question, and share with you, in my opinion, how to command better prices. Enjoy.
