A quick tour of some of the areas and animals on Santa Rosa Island during our April 13-17, 2018 visit.

An adult peregrine visited the Anacapa nest cave and did some scratching, as if to make a depression for eggs. I think this is the first time that we have seen an adult at this nest since the nest cam was installed earlier this year.

A second year peregrine cached a prey item (bird) in the back of the cave on April 27, 2017.

The peregrines are becoming more active at their nest on Anacapa Island, California.
